'Shadows of children', 'Refugees', 'Appearance'Concept of Memorial
The tree is a tree of life...
In the composition on the left, 'Appearance', a woman has come to the place of her beloved man’s grave. Between the tree and her figure, in her memory comes her beloved - like a shadow, like a mirage in a different hypostasis of the soul. In the right composition, the ‘Tree of genus’ is the - Shadow of Children, who have passed away, but have come back in the memory of their parents. Parents grieve to this tree...both composition symbolise memories and life to the people.
etween the two walls, which express memory and pain, is the central group of 'Refugees'. Despite the tragedy and their suffering, bypassing the mountain, rivers, seas.. They have been able to survive, save their faith, culture, and their future.
They represent all of us, who were forced to leave our homes and immigrate.
